Discover shortcuts,
formulas and cheap tricks, for drawing cartoons at this unique party.
Animator/cartoonist, Gene Hamm, will teach
an introductory cartooning class to you and your friends. You’ll
spend the hour learning about basic shapes and the cartoon head and face,
and you’ll be drawing before you know it. Kids who are already
drawing their own cartoon faces should bring them along to work on in
the class.
If your friends bring a picture of their favorite cartoon character,
Gene can show them how it is drawn.
This is a great party for older kids and tweens, and any child who loves to draw!
Instructor, Gene Hamm has worked on several Hollywood cartoons, music videos
and video games. He is on leave from teaching animation at Academy of Art University
in San Francisco to promote his own animated feature film, The Dream Hat, which
he has just completed.
Each guest will receive cartooning worksheets, and the birthday child will
be presented with an autographed DVD of Gene’s complete course, Cartooning:
Shortcuts, Formulas & Cheap Tricks. After this one hour class, you and
your guests will have 30 minutes for cake and presents.
